				Effects: Add Effect (1) To add an effect to the effects chain: Click on an effect in the Effects List. To make the Effects List visible, click on the Effects List button (fX) above the library view area or choose View->All Effects in List (Command-3) from the Tools menu. The effect will be added to the selected part of the video. To apply the effect with random settings that vary over time, hold the Option key as you click on the effect in the Effects List. Normally, effects are added at the end of the effects chain, regardless of which part of the video is selected. To insert an effect in the effect chain based on the start time of the selected video, hold the Shift key down as you click the effect. You can add any number of effects to live or recorded video.
